Respect Other Motorpool.com Users

Please keep in mind that the Motorpool.com site is used by others. Always treat others with respect. Do not abuse the site. Every new community feature on Motorpool.com involves a certain level of trust. We trust you to be responsible, to use good judgment in what you post, and to use your common sense to protect yourself and the other users of the site.

Some "Do's and Don't's"

"Do" Flag Inappropriate Content

We cannot possibly review every User Submission, or all content, that is posted on Motorpool.com. We must rely upon the Motorpool.com community to self-regulate the material posted. If you see a User Submission that you consider to be inappropriate for posting on Motorpool.com because it violates the Terms of Use, please flag it. When a User Submission gets flagged as inappropriate, we will do our best to review the User Submission to see if it violates our Terms of Use, but note that flagged User Submissions are not automatically taken down by the system. If we remove your User Submission after reviewing it, you can assume that we removed it purposefully, so please take this as a serious warning notice. If you find other User Submissions on Motorpool.com with the same violations, please flag them so we can review them too.

"Don't" Use Motorpool.com for "Bad Behavior"

Please respect others in the Motorpool.com community and DON'T:

• post pornography or sexually explicit content. If this describes your User Submission, even if it's a video or photo of yourself, don't post it on Motorpool.com. Please be aware that we work closely with law enforcement and we report child exploitation.
• post User Submissions showing bad things like hurting animals, drug abuse, or other dangerous activities.
• post User Submissions with graphic or gratuitous violence. If your User Submission shows someone getting hurt, attacked, or humiliated, don't post it.
• post videos or photos of accidents, dead bodies and similar things.
• post User Submissions you didn't make yourself, or use content in your User Submissions that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos or photos made by other users, without their permission. Read our Copyright Information for more information.
• post hate speech, which is content intended to attack or demean a particular gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnic origin, veteran status, color, age, disability or nationality.
• engage in predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, invading privacy, or the revealing of other members' personal information. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from Motorpool.com.
• send spam. Do not create misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails in order to increase views. Promoting your channel is one thing, but it's not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages.

These are not the only "don't's" but should give you a good idea of the spirit of the Motorpool.com site. Please use your good judgment and common sense when using the site. Please don't try to find loopholes around the guidelines for this site�instead, please follow the rules and treat others as you would like to be treated.

Violations of the Terms of Use may result in a warning notification or may result in termination of your account and deletion of all your User Submissions. We decide whether we believe your violation of our Terms of Use should result in termination of your account. Remember: If you have an account terminated you are prohibited from ever signing up for another account!

Motorpool.com is for You

Remember that this website is for your use and enjoyment! Each and every user of Motorpool.com is important to the site and makes the site what it is.

• If you don't like it, don't view it. It's possible that you may dislike some content on the site. If you find a User Submission that you believe violates our Terms of Use, then click "Flag as Inappropriate" under the User Submission you're watching to submit it for review by Motorpool.com staff. If the User Submission doesn't rise to the level of violating the Terms of Use, please find another User Submission that you do like, and don't waste time worrying about (or telling us about) the User Submissions you don't.
• Have fun. This site is for you and others to have fun sharing videos, photos, stories and experiences.
• Give your opinion. Sharing your opinion in a respectful manner is a great way interact with other users of the site, so leave comments and let other users know what you think about their User Submissions.

Safety Precautions

It is important to note that Motorpool.com is intended for people that are age 14 and over. If you are under the age of 14, talk to your parents about other sites that are appropriate for someone your age.

Use Common Sense to Protect Privacy

You never know who will find the User Submissions you post of you, your family and friends. Your User Submission could even end up as one of the most viewed submissions. Keep this in mind when you post, and if your User Submission is personal, think about marking it as private so that only persons with your permission can view the User Submission.

Protect Your Identity

Please be careful not to reveal personal identifying information by the User Submissions you make public. For example, protect your telephone number, home address, social security number, license plate numbers on cars, and any other personal information that could help a stranger find out who you are or where you live. Remember, Motorpool.com employees will never ask you for your password, email address, or other account information, so don't be tricked by someone pretending to be from Motorpool.com.

If you don't have anything nice to say...

We urge you to give feedback to the User Submissions on the site, but please be considerate and respectful of the feelings of the other users when you are posting comments.

On the flipside, when you post a User Submission you can choose whether you want to let people comment on your submissions at all. If someone leaves a comment on your User Submission that is mean or bothers you, you can always delete the comment. Another option is to select the option which allows you to approve or remove people's comments before they appear on the site.

Motorpool.com has tons of viewers and users, and just like in the real world, most people are good, but some of them aren't. Please protect yourself, your family, your friends, and other Motorpool.com users by keeping personal content private, protecting your identity, keeping your comments clean, and by reporting violations of the Terms of Use using the flagging system.
